T-adapter / T2 extension tube with M42x1mm threads on both ends. 55mm in length. To attach DSLR cameras to scopes

£14.99

Description

This T-adapter has M42x1mm threads on both ends. On one side it has M42x1mm male threads for the connection of DSLR camera T-rings with compatible threads, and on the other side it has M42x1mm female threads for the connection of telescopes.

This adapter has a solid metal tube body without openings. It provides a complete light sheltering which is specially useful for photography under high lighting conditions. This adapter set is particularly suitable when you use fixed power eyepieces (i.e., do not need to adjust an eyepiece zoom while the camera is attached to the scope).

This adapter set allows the telescope’s eyepiece to be remained in its place while the camera is attached. This ensures a right side up image to be displayed on your camera’s viewfinder.

Description:

  • Connect DSLR cameras to telescopes. (eg. it fits Nipon MC800x80, 350×80, 25-75×70 and 25-125×92 scopes).
  • Built with metal material and black anodized.
  • M42x1mm threads on both ends for scope and for DSLR camera T-rings (T2 mount) connection.
  • Dimensions:
    • Internal tube diameter: 40mm (this is the maximum eyepiece diameter that can be held within this adapter tube)
    • Overall length: 55mm

Note: Some scopes and camera T-rings (also known as T2 mount) may have M42x0.75mm threads, so the threaded section may not reach its end due to a slight difference in the thread pitch. However, the connection is still strong and secure enough for the purpose.
