Sony/Minolta A-mount DSLR camera T-ring (T2 mount) for telescopes. M42x0.75mm threads

Description

This T-ring (T2 mount) is specially made to connect Sony/Minolta A-mount DSLR cameras (such as Sony Alpha, Minolta Alpha, Maxxum, Dynax cameras) to telescopes. You fit one end of this ring to the camera’s main body, and connect the other end either directly to the telescope’s threaded focuser, or to a 1.25″ or 2″ T-adapter tube which can then be put into the telescope’s eyepiece holder barrel. You can then take pictures through the scope!

• This T-ring can screw onto telescope’s eyepiece holder/focuser (if the focuser has got equivalent threads), or it works together with a 1.25″ or 2″ T-adapter tube (either fixed length or adjustable length) which are available from this store.

Note: Sony DSLR camera lenses come with two different mounts: Sony A-mount and E-mount.

Sony A-mount DSLR cameras include, for example, Sony Alpha 33, 35, 37, 55, 58, 65, 68, 77, 99, 100, 200, 230, 290, 300, 330, 350, 380, 390, 450, 500, 550, 560, 580, 700, 850, 900 and so on.

The Sony E-mount is used on the mirrorless Sony system cameras (eg. Sony Alpha 7 series, Alpha 6000 and 5000 series, and NEX series.
