Description
Vintage Photopia 8×40 binoculars, serial number 65158.
These are a good pair of vintage medium-size binoculars with 8x magnification, 40mm objective lenses, coated optics, and a 6° field of view. The binoculars are marked “Photopia”, “Registered Prismatic”, “Coated Optics”, “Made in Japan“, and “8x40mm Field 6°”.
The optics are intact and very clean, and the binoculars produce a clear image. The central and eyepiece focusing systems work well, and the folding bridge adjusts as it should.
The body is in good used vintage condition overall, with a textured black leather covering and only general age-related cosmetic wear from use and storage. The original neck strap is attached.
