A pair of very rare vintage US Turner Reich 6x binoculars / field glass produced by Gundlach-Manhattan Optical Co. in Rochester, N.Y. The binoculars are in overall good working condition with reasonably clear images for the age.

Solid metal body with original leather armouring and brass prism plates and lens hood.
Weight: 480g (1.0 lb.)
Note:
This item was probably produced circa 1900s. An original hinge ring/washer is missing and it has been replaced with a washer, as shown in photos. It serves the purpose of central focusing adjustment which works fine. There is also a small crack on left eyecup (shown in photo) but this does not seem to affect the performance of the binoculars as only the right eyepiece is used for fine focusing when necessary. Otherwise, no damage to the internal/external optics and the binoculars are in general good working condition with clear images for their age.
Wear and tear to the binoculars body appropriate with age and use.
