Description
This listing is for one of the universal digital camera lens adapter rings with 49mm external threads. The adapter can be used to connect a digital camera to telescope’s eyepiece barrel that has 1.25″ diameter. The adapter can fit a digital camera with 49mm diameter filter thread on the camera lens.
The adapter can clamp to a telescope eyepiece barrel with external diameter less than 35mm. The adapter is secured on the eyepiece using the three screws. These screws are also used to adjust the optimum position of your camera in relation to the telescope eyepiece. You can then start to take pictures through the telescope.
Description:
- Attached to cameras which have 49mm filter threads on the lens.
- Suitable for 1.25″ telescope eyepieces.
- Metal material
- Inner diameter: 34.5mm (Note: this is the maximum outer diameter of telescope eyepieces these adapter rings can go over).
Note: The lens filter thread diameter can be different from the camera lens diameter as marked on the lens. As shown in one of the images for example, the compact camera is marked with 45mm lens, but its filter thread diameter is actually 52mm. So please measure the thread diameter on the front of your camera lens, then choose a correct adapter ring based on the measurement.
The photos show examples on how these adapters can clamp to the outside tube of 1.25″ telescope eyepieces. It can also clamp on to 1.25″ T-adapter tube, as in this example, for the attachment of compact cameras to riflescopes.
