For sale is a vintage pair of Wraystar 8×40 binoculars by Wray London, supplied with their brown leather carry case and attached leather straps.
The binoculars are in good usable condition for their age. The optics are intact and clean, and they produce clear images when viewed through. Some internal lenses have been cleaned, and there are some light cleaning marks visible on the lenses, but this does not prevent the binoculars from being very usable as they are.
The central focusing wheel turns smoothly, and the eyepiece diopter adjustment also works smoothly. The binoculars open and close correctly.
Cosmetically, there are normal signs of age and use, including light marks, small scuffs and minor wear to the black finish, as shown in the photos. Overall, the binoculars present well for a vintage pair. The brown leather case is included and has age-related marks, scratches and wear, but remains a nice original-style accessory with a fitted interior.
