Description
Up for sale is a vintage pair of Carl Zeiss Jena “Dekarem” 10×50 binoculars, serial number 1555318, dating around 1930-1931, complete with hard leather case. These are classic German-made binoculars known for their excellent optical design and robust construction. Very good working condition.

Condition:
- In very good working order for their age, with good optics and clear images.
- Body shows normal wear from age and use, including paint loss, surface marks, and patina typical of older Zeiss binoculars.
- Centre focus wheel and individual eyepiece dioptres turn, though may benefit from lubrication. Back central hinge disc is missing, but this does not affect the use of the binoculars in any way.
- Original Carl Zeiss style hard case, leather exterior with stitched edges. Shows age-related wear but is solid and functional. Interior lining is intact with some marks.
