Shipping and Returns


All items are in stock and ready to dispatch at the time of posting on our website. Otherwise it will be noted if a product is out of stock.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address and a contact telephone number. Incorrect or incomplete address details may lead to a significant delay in delivery.

Most scopes and large items are shipped by specialist courier such as UPS and delivery progress can be tracked online using the tracking number which can be obtained from us. The delivery usually takes around 2 to 3 working days within most places in the UK. Please note that UK delivery does not apply to weekends including Saturdays and Sundays.

Binoculars and other smaller items under 2kg will be shipped to UK destinations using Royal Mail or economic couriers.

All International Orders will be shipped using either Royal Mail Air Mail, Royal Mail International Signed-For, or a specialist international courier.

Please note that some of these delivery services may require a signature for delivery — in case of non-delivery, please contact your local post office or depot in the first instance, as they may have tried to deliver at a time when no one was available to sign for the parcel.

Please allow up to 4 working days for UK delivery. In case of non-delivery, please contact us to obtain the postage reference / parcel tracking number.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery to specific countries at any time.

Items will be dispatched once payment has cleared. PayPal payments normally clear immediately, whereas cheque and money orders will take about 4-5 working days to clear. Payment in the form of an “eCheque” can take 7-9 days to clear, so please make sure you are aware of this when making a payment.

Please allow about one week for European delivery and about two weeks for delivery to the rest of the world.

At Nipon Scope & Optics we want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase and therefore offer a no-quibble return policy.

If you do wish to return an item to us for an exchange or refund, please contact us to arrange this. A Returned Goods Authorisation (RGA) code will be issued to you. Please write this code on the package or include a note inside the package to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the process.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be complete with its original packaging and parts, no later than 30 days from receipt.

For returning goods we advise that you use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or equivalent courier. Please retain the shipping reference number as proof of postage. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds of the full product cost (excluding the postage) will be processed within 7 working days of the receipt of the returned product.
