Rare Vintage German Nitschke Rathenow Genira 6×30 Binoculars with Leather Case

A pair of rare vintage German Nitschke Rathenow Genira 6×30 binoculars in good working condition.

The binoculars have 6x magnification and 30mm objective lens diameter.

Central focusing wheel.

Fine focus at the right eyepiece.

Dimensions (when binoculars fully open): 160mm (W) x 115mm (H) x 45mm (D)

Weight: approx. 365 g (0.8 lb)

Comes with a leather case (no straps).

Engraved on the central front hinge: D.R.G.M.

Note:

The lenses and prisms under them have been cleaned where accessible. The binoculars have a reasonably clear images for their age.

When looking through the objective lenses, there appears to be some dust possibly on the prism surfaces facing down. The prisms are not removed from their original positions so that only some prism surfaces that can be accessed from the top have been cleaned. The binoculars image can be improved further if all the internal optics are cleaned thoroughly

General wear and tear to the binoculars body and to leather case appropriate with age and use.
