Description

This is a pair of antique French military binoculars which was made by Lemaire Paris, possibly during WW1. The binoculars have 10x magnification and 20mm objective lenses. Image focus is achieved by turning the central focusing wheel and balance at the right eyepiece.

The binoculars have solid metal body with leather armouring and it’s in good condition. Please see images below for further details.

Note: This item is in good working condition for its age, no chips or cracks on the internal / external lenses.
Lenses and some internal prisms have been cleaned where accessible, and images collimated for both eyes. The binoculars give a reasonably clear images. General wear and tear appropriate with age.
The lid of leather case is detached from the case at the back, as shown in the last photo.
This binocular model is very rare and it is highly collectable for its historical value.
