Note:
These binoculars show honest age and use, with notable external wear such as:
- scattered paint loss to the metal surfaces, especially around the objective ends and bridge
- age-related wear, scuffs, and rippling to the leather covering
- aged leather strap with wear from use
- general cosmetic marks from storage and handling over the years
- Optics are intact, and the image remains clear for binoculars of this age. The lenses have had an initial internal clean by removing the top eyepiece bridge, although performance may improve further with more thorough cleaning.
They have a strong decorative and collector appeal and would display very well in a vintage optics, militaria, or scientific instrument collection.
