A fine pair of vintage Phomar Berlin 8×30 wide-angle binoculars, made in Germany and supplied with their original black leather case and strap.
These compact, mid-century binoculars were produced circa 1955–1965, during the post-war period when West German optics manufacturers rebuilt their reputation for precision craftsmanship.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition with light, honest signs of age and use. Optics are clear without dust/haze. Very clear and sharp images. Focus operates smoothly, and all markings are intact and legible. Case shows mild vintage wear with some scuffs and patina, but fully functional.
A lovely collectible set for display, vintage optics enthusiasts, or light field use.
