Description

This is a vintage mini single-draw pocket telescope (spyglass) featuring a blackened metal body with brass fittings. Compact and well-made, this type of miniature telescope was commonly produced in the late 19th to early 20th century as a novelty or gentleman’s pocket optical instrument.

The telescope extends smoothly and reveals its internal brass draw tube. Optics are present, and an image can be seen when viewing through the eyepiece. Due to its age and size, this item is best suited as a decorative collectible, curiosity, or display piece rather than for precision optical use.

Features:

  • Brass single draw
  • Objective lens: 25 mm
  • Length: 70 mm (closed) – 107 mm (extended)
  • Main barrel diameter: 29 mm

Condition: Vintage condition with visible cosmetic wear. Paint loss, patina, and age-related marks to the body and brass components. Lenses are intact. Brass shows natural ageing and surface wear. No maker’s mark visible.
