Description
An original antique brass microscope, housed in its original fitted wooden case, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. This is a well-made scientific instrument, constructed primarily from brass with blackened internal components, typical of laboratory and educational microscopes of the period.
The microscope features a solid brass body with adjustable sections and exposed optical elements. It stores securely in its purpose-made wooden case, which includes fitted internal compartments designed to hold the instrument and accessories. The microscope was most likely made in Britain or Western Europe.
