Description
A beautiful and authentic pair of C.P. Goerz Berlin “Trieder” 6x binoculars, complete with their original leather case and strap. These early German field glasses date from around 1891–1896, a period when C.P. Goerz was one of Europe’s most respected optical manufacturers, later merging into Carl Zeiss in 1926.
The Trieder series was among Goerz’s finest civilian and military-grade binoculars of the late 19th to early 20th century, known for its brass internal fittings, hand-assembled mechanics, and clear, high-contrast optics for its time.
