This listing is for an original antique Kodak No. 1A Autographic Kodak Junior folding camera, complete with a vintage leather carrying case.
The camera was manufactured by Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, New York, USA, and dates from approximately the 1910s–1920s.
The model name is clearly marked on the camera:
“No. 1A Autographic Kodak Jr.” Serial number 13338
This camera was designed for 116 Autographic roll film, producing large-format negatives of approximately 6.5 x 11 cm.
The camera is fitted with a Kodak Anastigmat lens, approximately 130mm focal length, with an aperture beginning around f/7.7, together with a Kodak Ball Bearing Shutter.
The camera features the characteristic folding-bed design of the period, with extending bellows, front focusing standard, brilliant viewfinder and distance scale.
The original Autographic system allowed the photographer to write notes directly onto the film backing through a small rear opening using a stylus, an unusual Kodak feature introduced during the early 20th century.

Condition:
The camera is in original antique condition with substantial age-related wear.
The leather covering shows rubbing, surface loss, scratches and fading. The bellows show visible wear and several areas where the outer covering has deteriorated or worn through.
The metal fittings show tarnishing, oxidation and general surface wear consistent with age.
The leather carrying case is also heavily worn, with extensive surface wear, rubbing and deterioration to the strap and finish.
The camera has not been film-tested, and the bellows have not been tested for light-tightness. The shutter, aperture and other mechanical functions should therefore be considered untested unless otherwise stated.
Due to its age and visible bellows wear, the camera is offered primarily as an antique photographic collectible, display piece or restoration project.
