Vintage Wray London Magnivu 8×30 binoculars, complete with leather neck strap and brown carry case.
These are a classic pair of British-made Wray binoculars in the popular 8×30 size. They are marked “Magnivu 8×30” to one side and “Wray London” to the other. The serial number is 105623.
The binoculars are in good used vintage condition overall. The metal body is covered with a textured stippled black paint finish. The bodywork is intact, with general age-related wear to the paint and some light cosmetic marks from use and storage.
The optics are intact and fairly clean, with no mould or major dust visible. The binoculars produce a clear image. Both the central focus and eyepiece diopter adjustment work well, and folding bridge operate as they should.
The original-style brown carry case is included. The case is marked Wray London inside and shows age-related wear, scuffs, marks and wear to the strap/fastening, but remains a nice period accessory.
