Antique Brass Draw Telescope – J.T. Coppock, Leeds

A charming Victorian / Edwardian brass pocket telescope engraved “J.T. Coppock Leeds.”
This classic three-draw telescope features a main barrel with original black japanned finish over brass and brass extending tubes.

Telescopes of this type were commonly used in the late 19th to early 20th century for travel, maritime observation and field use.

When extended, the telescope reveals multiple brass draw tubes forming a compact portable spyglass design, with the first draw tube being marked with magnification levels.
