A pair of antique German 1911 prior WWI Carl Zeiss Jena Telexem 6× military binoculars in good working condition.

Serial number: 223838 (Note: this number suggests that these binoculars were made in 1911).

The binoculars have 6x magnification and 22mm objective lens diameter.

Central focusing wheel.

Focus adjustment knob at the right eyepiece.

Dimensions (when binoculars fully open): 150mm (W) x 100mm (H) x 41mm (D)

Weight: approx. 470g

Clean lenses and clear images for the age of these binoculars.

Comes with original leather case. (Golden prints on the inner case cover: G.W. Dixey & Son, Opticians to the King, 3 New Bond Street, London)

Wear and tear to the binoculars body and to the leather case appropriate with age. There is a small crack on the left eyecup, as shown in the photo.

A name is engraved on the rear plate to read: G. E. M. Learwyd
