A pair of very rare antique German pre-WWI C.P. Goerz Berlin Trieder Binocle 6x military binoculars in good working condition.
This is an early example of German military prism binoculars. The triangular aluminium barrels have rounded edges and are covered with brown leather. It is engraved “C.P.GOERZ BERLIN” on the front face of the left barrel, and “TRIEDER BINOCLE” with a triangular prism figure on the front face of the right barrel. “6x”, “Germany” and serial number “126749” are engraved on the bridges connecting the barrels.

The binoculars lenses and prisms have been cleaned where possible and they are in collimation. The binoculars give clear images.
Wear and tear to the binoculars body appropriate with age and use.
