Description

This is a nice pair of antique French military binoculars which was made by Jules Huet & Cie. Paris, possibly during WW1. The binoculars have 16x magnification and 40mm objective lenses. Image focus is achieved by turning the individual eyepieces.

The binoculars have solid metal body with leather armouring and it’s in good condition. Please see images below for further details.

Note: This item is in good working condition for its age, no chips or cracks on the internal / external lenses. Wear and tear appropriate with age. Objective and eye lenses have been cleaned as well as some surfaces of the internal prisms where accessible. However, there still appear to be some marks or mould in some lens areas, possibly on the prism surfaces which face down. These can be cleaned further when the prisms are taken out. Nevertheless, this binocular model is very rare and it is highly collectable for its historical value.
